Frank's Pizza

If you've read this blog for very long you'll remember my unplanned overnighter in Green River, Utah last August.  That's the burg that was closed due to lack of interest but that yielded a bunch of poignant photographs like the erstwhile pizza joint called Frank's.

Short and sweet this time.

  1. Can't believe the similarity in our current posts. Yours featuring a pizza joint and mine featuring the nearly abandoned town of Cerrillos, NM. We might even have been working on them at the same time yesterday afternoon. Love your capturing of the subjects, this time in color. I followed your example on my blog and went black and white (as you normally do) which just seemed appropriate to a decaying town. Good work, Steve.....as always.

  2. Lonely big sky and deserted old west building. Great photography like this stirs up old memories of long car trips in the '55? Buick. Mom would say no, Dad would say yes we need a stretch and a beer. Thanks for great art and stirring up good memories.

  3. Color, black and white, either way, depending on the subject and the message. Good choice, here, Steve.
You sure know how to find 'em.
