Beaux Baudinard

Baudinard Glow
Here are images with more evocative light and a better sense of our little hillside village.  Baudinard dates from the 12th century though Roman artifacts show human habitation well before Christ. From the height of land you can see a western panorama that stretches to Mount Ventoux on the far horizon.

Sleepy is the operative word. There are two restaurants now, one of them in L'Auberge de Baudinard a four star hotel, but the cook in La Chardon is moving to Toulon.  The city's siren call trumps the mistral’s howl as summer bids adieu to the Haut Var
